Jessica Pickens

Vice President

Jessica Pickens is the Founding Vice President of Operations for Complete Care Management Partners, LLC.  She is responsible for managing and over-seeing the day-to-day operations of the business, including logistics, human resources, IT, finance, and vendor management.  Jessica is also responsible for government and community relations. Prior her role with Complete Care Management Partners, Ms. Pickens spent five years serving in various leadership roles at NextLevel Health Partners, including Vice President of Operations and Director of Government and Community Affairs.

Jessica is a detail-oriented leader with more than twenty years’ combined experience in government relations, community relations, administration and operations.  She has a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s in public administration.  Serving as Vice-President of Operations for Complete Care Management Partners provides the perfect opportunity for Ms. Pickens to demonstrate her passion for science, health care, people, and civic duty through working daily with the CCMP team to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes for the people and communities being served.

Jessica is a wife, mother of six and grandmother of two.  She most enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, listening to music and playing family games.  She loves to travel with her family and friends often, especially to places with warm climates, whether by plane or cruise ship!

Tina Zurita

Vice President
Clinical Quality & Informatics

Tina Zurita is the Founding Vice President, Clinical Quality and Informatics. In this role, she is responsible for the integrity of clinical systems, policies, creating strategic direction for enterprise-wide compliance, championing quality, fostering clinical effectiveness, and advancing a culture of excellence.  She has participated in and driven successful NCQA accreditations as well as many local regulatory audits.

Before coming to Complete Care, she was the Executive Director of Care Management and Director of Quality at NextLevel Health Partners, the country’s only African-American owned Medicaid health plan. NextLevel Health Partners was focused on social determinants of health and closing the health disparities gap in low-income communities. As Executive Director of Care Management, Tina’s priority was to oversee the implementation and integrity of programs and the management of care management platform.

Tina is a registered nurse with a master’s in business administration. Her nursing experience includes pediatric and neonate intensive care. She transitioned to the managed care industry approximately 10 years ago gaining experiences in utilization management including oversight of acute, outpatient, pharmacy, and imaging utilization. In addition, she possesses quality assurance experience which includes oversight of HEDIS, NCQA accreditation, and regulatory requirements.

She is a wife and mother to 4 and grandmother to 6.  In her free time, she enjoys all types of music, dancing, spending time with family and friends, being in the mountains or on the beach, camping, and fishing.  Her pandemic activity is renewing, remodeling/painting all rooms in her home.

Katherine Blum

Vice President
Population Health & Care Management

Katherine Blum is the founding Vice President of Population Health and Care Management at CCMP.

In this role, Katherine provides overall organizational leadership, strategic and operational implementation, and oversight of population health and care management functions and processes. She leverages professional clinical integrity, expertise, and multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams, population health tools, workflow designs, outcomes metrics, and quality performance to deliver tangible care management truly impacting each life.

Katherine has spent 20 years on the “frontline” with families /research and programmatic excellence/ fun in the details solving to translate to impact on health outcomes. In her previous role as a Director of Integrated Care Management for NextLevel Health Partners, she led maternal and child health efforts to improve maternal outcomes by aggressive care management and work to improve care management for the highest risk members in the plan. Prior to that she was Director of Clinical Operations, Perinatal Services with Northwestern Medicine and  NICU/PICU nurse working as a programmatic leader with high acuity and rapid response teams administering extraporperal membrane oxygenation, peritoneal dialysis.

Katherine is a Registered Nurse with a bachelor of science and Master’s in Business Administration.

She is a first generation American and mother to 2 teens and 1 puppy. She is a Foodie that loves mountain biking, running, and projects around the house and Feels gracious for family and friends, family cooking…spend time connecting, story-telling about days of ‘ole and days ahead.
